Anita Lipnicka 는 폴란드 출신의 싱어송라이터입니다.
1975년생으로 1993년 Varius Manx라는 밴드에서
자신의 첫 음악적 재능을 선보입니다.
1996년 밴드에서 탈퇴한 후 솔로로 전향,
1집 앨범 "Wszystko sie moze zdarzyc" (어떤 일이든 생길 수 있다.)를 발매,
큰 인기를 얻게 되지요
솔로 활동으로 계속 좋은 반응을 얻지만,
2001년 자신의 음악적 성향과 전혀 다른 John Porter와 함께
음악작업을 시작하면서 새로운 도전을 하였고
다시 한번 큰 성공을 거두게 됩니다
2003년 발매한 Indecent Songs 앨범의 타이틀곡
'Bones of Love'는 폴란드의 거의 모든 차트에서 1위를 하며
그녀의 끊임없는 도전에 큰 힘을 실어주었으며
특히 폴란드에서 발매한 앨범임에도
영어로 부른 노래로 사람들의 주목을 끌게 되지요
뮤직 비디오 역시 좋은 반응을 얻어서
Yach Video Awards 3개부문에 노미네이트 되기도 했습니다
John Porter와는 이후 4장의 앨범을 더 발표하였는데
그와 함께 한 5장의 앨범 중 3장이
Gold 또는 Platinum 세일즈를 기록하였지요
2009년 다시 혼자만의 음악의 길로 들어선 그녀.
다시 어떤 변화된 모습을 보여줄지 기대가 되네요
