악셀 루디 펠은 마이클 쉥커, 울리 존 로스와 더불어
독일이 낳은 세계적인 기타리스트 중 한 명으로
1989년 솔로 데뷔 이후 지금까지
오로지 바로크 멜로딕 메탈의 노선만을
충실히 걷고 있는 마에스트로입니다
그는 잉베이 맘스틴처럼 폭발적인 인기를 누리지는 못했지만,
언제나 변함없는 사운드와 태도로 독일 지역은 물론이고,
일본과 우리나라 메탈 팬들에게 많은 지지를 얻고 있지요
이름 자체가 밴드 이름이기도 한
악셀 루디 펠의 음악은 멜로딕 스피드 메탈계의
잉베이 맘스틴 스타일이라 할 수 있습니다
다른 밴드들은 기타라는 악기를 곡의 전체적인
분위기에 맞게 적절하게 사용하는데 반해,
악셀은 잉베이처럼 기타를 위해
음악이존재하는 것처럼 느껴지기 때문이지요
