Susie Arioli는 Juno Awards에 3번이나 후보에 올랐던
몬트올 출신의 카나다 재즈 가수 입니다
Arioli는 몬트리올 재즈클럽에서 Stephen Barry가 이끄는 잼의
기타리스트 Jordan Officer 를 만나 Susie Arioli Band를 결성하였고
1998년 레이찰스를 위한 몬트리올 국제 재즈 페스티발에 초청돠면서
큰 기회를 잡게 되지요
Susie Arioli Band의 공연은
몬트리올 비평가들의 관심을 끌었고
곧이어 성공적인 첫번째 CD를 발매하게 됩니다
그들은 현재 4장의 앨범을 발표했으며
그 중 3장의 앨범이 Juno Awards 의 후보에 올랐지요
Arioli는 Atlantic Monthly 지의
재즈 작가 Francis Davis에 의해
신흥 재즈의 기수로 지목받고 있는 가수 입니다
