Then & Now Anita Lipnicka & John Porter I was crazy about the way you dressed, undressed All that wild sex and the way you got dressed That was then and this is now You were the pilot in my stormy skies I fell in love with your mischievous eyes That was then and this is now You froze me into Yesterday You are the beautiful murderess who got away We couldnt tango but we sure could kiss That was then and this is now After Summer came Winter It all went cold and black The sun is shining somewhere else and never coming back That was then and this is now There was the magic of the moment The wisdom of a sigh You held me so fiercely through those endless nights That was then and this is now You froze me into Yesterday You are the beautiful murderess who got away We couldnt tango but we sure could kiss That was then and this is now I was crazy about the way you dressed, undressed All that wild sex and the way you got dressed That was then and this is now You were the pilot in my stormy skies I fell in love with your mischievous eyes That was then and this is now --------------------------------------------- Anita Lipnicka 는 폴란드 출신의 싱어송라이터입니다. 1975년생으로 1993년 Varius Manx라는 밴드에서 자신의 첫 음악적 재능을 선보입니다. 1996년 밴드에서 탈퇴한 후 솔로로 전향, 1집 앨범 "Wszystko sie moze zdarzyc" (어떤 일이든 생길 수 있다.)를 발매, 큰 인기를 얻게 되지요 솔로 활동으로 계속 좋은 반응을 얻지만, 2001년 자신의 음악적 성향과 전혀 다른 John Porter와 함께 음악작업을 시작하면서 새로운 도전을 하였고 다시 한번 큰 성공을 거두게 됩니다 2003년 발매한 Indecent Songs 앨범의 타이틀곡 'Bones of Love'는 폴란드의 거의 모든 차트에서 1위를 하며 그녀의 끊임없는 도전에 큰 힘을 실어주었으며 특히 폴란드에서 발매한 앨범임에도 영어로 부른 노래로 사람들의 주목을 끌게 되지요 뮤직 비디오 역시 좋은 반응을 얻어서 Yach Video Awards 3개부문에 노미네이트 되기도 했습니다 John Porter와는 이후 4장의 앨범을 더 발표하였는데 그와 함께 한 5장의 앨범 중 3장이 Gold 또는 Platinum 세일즈를 기록하였지요 2009년 다시 혼자만의 음악의 길로 들어선 그녀. 다시 어떤 변화된 모습을 보여줄지 기대가 되네요
