Any love is good love So I took what I could get mmh, Oooh, oooh she looked at me with big brown eyes And said: You ain't seen nothin' yet, B-B-B-Baby, you just ain't seen nothin' yet, Here's something that you never gonna forget, B-B-B-Baby, you just ain't seen nothin' yet. 바크만 터너 오버드라이브는 1972년에 정식으로 결성되어 1970년대 중반 확실한 입지를 다진 캐나다 출신의 4인조 하드록, 팝록 밴드다. 기타리스트 Randy Bachman과 베이시스트 C.F."Fred"Turner가 주축이 되어 랜디의 친동생들인 Tim Bachman과 Robbie Bachman을 규합해 조직한 그룹이다. 리더 랜디 바크만은 BTO를 구성하기 이전에 캐나다 록의 1세대 그룹인 Guess Who의 일원으로서 Burton Cummings와 파트너가 되어 'These eyes','No time','Laughing','No sugar tonight/New mother nature', 그리고 영화 "오스틴 파워스"와 "아메리칸 뷰티"에 나왔던 차트 1위 곡 'American woman' 등을 작곡한 인물이며, 1999년 상큼한 모던록풍의 탑 텐 싱글 'She's so high'의 주인공 탈 바크만(Tal Bachman)의 아버지이기도 하다. 1970년대 초반 미국의 트럭 운수 잡지 'Overdrive'에서 힌트를 얻어 밴드 명을 바크만 터너 오버드라이브로 바꾸고, 탈퇴한 채드 알란(Chad Allan) 대신 팀 바크만이 리듬 기타를 맡으면서 이들의 음악은 빨라졌고 음량은 커졌다. 드디어 자신들의 사운드를 찾은 것이다. 1974년 여름, 하드록의 명반 이 세상의 빛을 보았다. 앨범 차트 정상을 차지한 이 LP 에서는 그 유명한 'You ain't seen nothing yet'이 싱글 차트 1위를 차지했고 가장 완벽한 드라이브송 중 하나인 'Roll on down the highway(14위)'도인기를 얻었다. 특히 Dave Mason과 두비 브라더스,The Who의 리프가 혼재된 듯한 그루브한 기타 연주와 랜디의 버벅거리고 더듬는 보컬이 인상적인 'You ain't seen nothing yet'은 팀 바크만의 후임으로 리듬 기타를 쥔 Blair Thornton의 역량이 십분 발휘된 곡이다.
