It suits me fine that way And I'm such a perfect stepping stone while the friends of friends surround me And you never know quite who you'll meet over lunch today You could reach such dizzy heights, if you weren't so self-conscious But you, you have to play it cool, and that is quite okay 'cause I'm such a perfect stepping stone while pretending not to notice And you never know quite who you'll meet over lunch today So relax, relax and stick around, and there'll be no bills to pay And you never know quite who you'll meet over lunch today You might think that you're original, but we all come up that way And the sad part is that you're never sure, if you'll eat today So relax, relax and stick around, and there'll be no bills to pay And you never know, no, you never know Who's For Lunch Today? ---------------------------------------- 1942년 5월 8일 영국 런던에서 태어난 알버트 하몬드는 스페인 남부의 지브랄타르로 이주하여 그곳에서 성장했습니다 15세에 첫 앨범 "New Orleans" 를 발표하고 16세에 형제들과 같이 아마추어 팝그룹 다이아몬드를 결성하여 활동하다가 18세 때 그룹을 나와 영국으로 건너간 하몬드는 다이아몬드 멤버였던 리처드 카트라이트와 듀엣으로 앨버트 앤 리차드라는 팀을 결성하여 활동을 펼쳤지요 그 이름으로 몇장의 앨범을 발표하면서 비틀타입 영화에도 출연하였으나 해산되고 하몬드는 그룹 로스 쿠이코 리카르도스에 가입하여 활동을 펼쳤지요 그룹의 리더인 마이크 헤이즐우드와 함께 "The Train Colours Of Love","Good Morning Freeom", "Make Me on Island" 등을 히트시켰으며, 어린이TV 프로그램에서 사용된 '올리버와 지하세계' 를 작곡하기도 했습니다 또한 그가 작곡하고 Hollies 가 부른 "The Air That I Breathe", Leo Sayer 가 부른 "When I Need You" 등도 이 시기에 히트하여 그의 명성을 드높였지요...
